Jon Bailey of HKS - Dallas walks through the Pacific Plaza Park Pavillion the team is working on. He’ll talk structural systems & materials and design iterations. You’ll be walked through how they handled site specific opportunities and site analysis for this public space project.
My name is Jon Bailey. I'm an associate designer and researcher with HKS Architects located in Dallas. I work with a studio called HKS LINE which stands for the Laboratory for Intensive Exploration. We are a full service design and research studio within the office. We're currently working on a project behind our Dallas headquarters called Pacific Plaza Park Pavilion. The construction will begin on that in a week and that is the project that we will be presenting to you today.
