Project Development and Documentation Introduction

So this is the fifth out of the six ARE 5.0 exams, project development and documentation and this one will be concentrating mostly on issues of communication. Sort of the way that you document different aspects of the projects. Systems and assemblies, design alternatives, evaluations to different types of materials, selection of appropriate construction techniques, and integration of all those selections and materials and systems into the designs. And so this is really that moment when you're trying to go from design development into CDs, so we are kind of aiming towards construction sets, permit sets, things like that.

The previous exam we were talking about, design issues and kind of opportunities, sort of trying to nail down, trying to get what the final design was on this exam. What we're really looking at is kind of taking those sort of final design concepts and trying to make them manifest in one way or another. So we are kind of zooming in on the kind of details and specifics in order to make our project goals come true from the beginning of these different exams.

So, big portion of this will be talking about communication that's gonna be just sort of part of the specifics of the exam. Because this is really where we move from, just kind of sketching and 3D modeling and things like that into the sort of communication tool of a CD set. And so we'll get to a lot of those kinds of communication systems as we go along.
